This is a lidded and two-handled (eared) sugar bowl, Czechoslovakian in origin, made between 1918 and 1939. Regarding the bottom of the bowl: Note that in the picture of the maker's mark on the bottom of the bowl, what looks like "CM-R" is actually "CMHR" - for "CM Hutschenreutyer." The "MZ" is for "Moritz Zdekauer." The colors in the scan have been altered to bring out the maker's mark. The bottom of the bowl is the same color as the sides. Also, incised above the maker's mark, but uncolored and impossible to bring out in a picture is: 1190   2 You have to look closely to see it but there is a tiny bit of table wear on the bottom of the bowl. There are no other flaws on the bowl or on the lid. The bowl has a diameter of a hair under 4 inches, is 6 1/8 inches from handle to handle, and stands 3 inches tall - about 4 inches with the lid on. Bowl and lid weigh 13 ounces. Shipping within the US is free. What You Should Know If you have questions or concerns, just send me an email. It is not my goal to acquire unhappy customers. Insurance is available at USPS cost - $1.65 for up to $50.00, $2.05 for $50.01 to $100.00. On any mostly-oldstuff purchase or shipment of purchases totaling $100.01 or more, I will pay for the insurance. NOTE: As I cannot get USPS Delivery Confirmation on items shipped to points outside the US, foreign buyers will be required to buy insurance. I will meet buyers who wish to come to the Hoffman Estates area (think "Woodfield Mall") to pick up their items. Please - ignore the eBay canned stuff about returns. With more than 2,000 sales, I've had perhaps a half dozen problems created by me, and independent of eBay's "within x days" or who pays for return shipping, not one buyer has ever paid one cent or received less than a 100% refund, but I evaluate these things on a case by case basis, which does not lend itself to a pat formula.
